Common issues
“I’m not getting reminders”
A few things to check:
- Notifications are enabled: go to Settings → Notifications in the app and make sure reminders are turned on for each medication.
- Quiet Hours:if you’ve set a Quiet Hours window, reminders during that window are silenced (they still appear on the lock screen, just without sound).
- Do Not Disturb / Focus:iOS and Android Focus modes can suppress notifications from apps that aren’t in your allowed list. Check whether Pill Reminder Kit is allowed through your active Focus mode.
“Photo-to-pill misread my bottle”
The AI is a starting point, not the source of truth. Tap any pre-filled field on the Confirm screen to edit it directly. Always verify the drug name, strength, and schedule before saving.
“I want to remove a medication”
From the Today screen, tap the medication row → then tap the trash icon in the top-right corner of the medication detail screen. This removes the medication and all its history from your device.
“I want to delete all my data”
Go to Settings → About → “Delete all data”. This permanently wipes all medications, schedules, and history from your device. It cannot be undone.
“How do I cancel my subscription?”
Subscriptions are managed by the platform store, not the app itself:
- iOS: go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and tap Pill Reminder Kit.
- Android: open the Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and select Pill Reminder Kit.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date to avoid being charged. We don’t process refunds directly, but Apple and Google both have refund request flows.
